The Yerevan Drums (Armenian: Երեւանյան հարվածային գործիքներ) is a musical group based in Yerevan, Armenia. Pavel Sargsyan was the founder and is the current head of the Yerevan Drums, with Emma Ohanyan being the artistic director of the group. The Yerevan Drums was founded in 2009 during the celebrations of Yerevan's 2,791st anniversary. The group's founders include Pavel Sargsyan, Gagik Beglaryan, and Ruben Jaghinyan. The band currently comprises 2 art directors and 13 drummers, who were selected from musical and public schools in Yerevan. The drummers are teenage girls from 15–25 years old who have a musical education. The performers received choreographic and musical training by world-class experts Aleksandr Garkavyi and Sergei Bravarnyuk.
